LCAP

The Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District held a public hearing regarding our upcoming Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) during the regular Board of Education meeting on June 9.

The LCAP serves as our district's three-year roadmap, outlining key goals for student achievement, support programs, and how state funds will be budgeted to make those goals a reality.

If you weren’t able to attend the meeting, don't worry—your window to participate is still open. Now is the perfect time to review the updates, ask questions, and get the answers you need before the final plan is officially adopted.

Key Focus Areas of the LCAP

The plan directly impacts several vital areas of our schools, including:

  • Student Achievement: Academic programs, interventions, and classroom technology.

  • School Climate: Student wellness, mental health resources, and campus safety.

  • Engagement: Tools and programs to support parent, family, and community involvement.

How to Review and Ask Questions

We want to ensure every voice in our community is heard. You can review the presentation materials and submit your feedback directly to district leadership.

  • Step 1: Visit our dedicated YCJUSD LCAP Portal to view the latest draft and meeting presentation.

  • Step 2: Use our online feedback form to submit any questions or comments you may have.

  • Step 3: Receive answers directly from our district staff as we finalize the plan.

Thank you for your continued partnership in shaping a bright future for all YCJUSD students!
