The Yucaipa High School swim team continues to have a strong season, currently ranked third overall in the CBL. The team will compete in CBL finals this Friday, followed by CIF prelims next Wednesday.
Top swimmers this week included Hunter Tamara, Sofia Stacks, Axton Smith, Brooklynn Ballard and Nick Ortiz, all of whom delivered impressive performances in their events.
Jocelyn Galindo and Mick Ortiz were recognized as the most-improved swimmers, demonstrating great progress and effort throughout the season.
Savannah Garcia said, “This season has been so successful for everyone, and I’m so proud of my team and how far they’ve come.”
Malina Neal added, “Swim team is so fun, and it brings lots of challenges that grow us as people.”
The team looks ahead to their upcoming competitions with confidence and momentum.
